Description:
This childcare achieved 136 places over a 1,679sqm site with 2 levels and undercroft parking. The natural timber façade responds to both the site context and the Eltham Gateway Design Guidelines. Transitional spaces allow the play of light through the façade and into play rooms. The open and natural design facilitates the seamless connection between indoor and outdoor play spaces, increasing the ease with which staff can monitor the environment.

Description:
This Early Learning Centre is the product of playful engagement with façade design and logically arranged internal spaces. The internal layout is organised organically with playrooms aligned along the buildings axis, ensuring that all indoor play spaces have access to ample natural light.
